Executive Vice President of Operations
The Executive Vice President of Operations will provide multi-hotel leadership, focusing on guest satisfaction, associate satisfaction, and owner satisfaction. Acting as a direct supervisor to Regional VP of Operations will provide support and resources, in person, while reporting to the President/CEO of the Company. The position is located at the Corporate Office in Uniondale, NY. (This is not a remote position)
Other responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
- Providing Senior Leadership to the Regional VP of Operations.
-Promotes hotel's policies and philosophies to associates and guests through direct and indirect interaction
-Oversight of all financial aspects of each hotel in portfolio: P & L, CapEx, Forecasting and Budgeting.
-Consistently and proactively measure hotel performance (Sales, Revenue, Market Share, GSS/SALT Scores, GOP, Accounts Receivable) to ensure hotel exceeds target goals.
Conducts weekly meetings with operations team focused on monitoring hotel performance and updating any general concerns.
- Ensures operational excellence for all hotels in portfolio; provides support, critique and guidance to hotels falling short of brand standards and/or company expectations.
- Ensure brand QA Compliance/Performance and approving action plans generated by hotel.
- Acts as liaison between Regional VP of Operations and General Managers discipline coaches, including but not limited to: Sales and Marketing, Finance, HR, Learning, Facilities, PR, Revenue Management and Owner Relations.
- Acts as role model and provide guidance on company culture. Selects, develops, manages and leads management team members.
- Guides, develops and implements policies, procedure and systems to improve business operations.
- Provides leadership to annual marketing plans.
Job Specifications:
- Marriott ,Hyatt, Hilton or IHG experience is preferred
- Marriott Excellence Program experience highly desirable
- Hospitality Technology experience preferrable in Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton or IHG PMS
- Ability to manage others virtually
- Deep understanding and support of the company pillars
- Conducts monthly P&L Reviews with each Senior VP, RVP & Director of Operations to ensure focus on areas of opportunity and develop actions plans to improve performance.
- Review of Monthly Performance Reviews by each property.
- Follows and promotes company policies and procedures and is able to effectively articulate and present the Company's vision and values
- Leadership skills including: coaching, mentoring, feedback, training and succession planning
- Hospitality Credentials preferred
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Travel Required
- Great ownership relations
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in hotel industry in a Senior Leadership role
- Experience in multi-unit leadership strongly preferred
- Sales and Revenue Management experience preferred
- General Manager experience preferred; with oversight of multiple Hotels

- BS in Hospitality Management, MBA preferred
- MS in Accounting preferrable
